Ruby on Rails Developer

We are seeking a talented Ruby on Rails developer to join our dynamic team. As a Ruby on Rails developer at AstaCal, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cutting-edge web applications. You'll work closely with our cross-functional team to develop scalable and robust solutions that meet our business needs and exceed our customers' expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Ruby on Rails web applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define requirements
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails framework
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
  • Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORMs (e.g., ActiveRecord)

We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Success Specialist. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring their success and satisfaction with our products and services. You'll work closely with our sales, marketing, and product teams to onboard new customers, provide ongoing support, and drive customer engagement and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned customers, building strong relationships and understanding their needs and goals
  • Onboard new customers, guiding them through the implementation process and providing training and support as needed
  • Proactively reach out to customers to ensure they are satisfied with our products and services, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling
  • Monitor customer usage and engagement metrics, and provide insights and recommendations to improve customer satisfaction and retention
  • Handle customer inquiries, requests, and issues in a timely and professional manner, and escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams as needed
  • Collaborate with internal teams to advocate for the customer and drive product improvements and enhancements based on customer feedback

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in customer success, account management, or sales
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and analytically
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with CRM software and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience working in a SaaS or technology company
  • Knowledge of customer success best practices and methodologies
